Elevator Instructions
In order for the Elevator to move between floors the accordion gate and door must be shut upon leaving the car. This ensures the safety and proper functionality of the elevator system.
PRESS CALL BUTTON
When light goes out and you hear click, elevator has arrived.
ENTER THE ELEVATOR
Open outer door, Open accordion gate, Enter elevator cab, Close outer door, Close accordion gate.
ENJOY THE RIDE!
Press the button for desired floor. DO NOT OPEN GATE until light goes out & door lock clicks.
EXIT THE ELEVATOR
Open accordion gate, Open outer door, Exit elevator, Close accordion gate, Close outer door.
Elevator Not Moving?
- Confirm all doors (at every floor) are completely closed and latched.
- Ensure the emergency stop switch is not engaged.
- Check if power is on in the house.
Stuck Between Floors?
- Close gate and hit the floor you are going to.
- Do not attempt to exit the cab.
- Call Salt and Sand for instructions.
When the light goes out and you hear a click, the elevator has arrived. DO NOT OPEN GATE until the light goes out & the door lock clicks.
